VISIT FUENGIROLA

Fuengirola is right next door! Its popularity is due to its wealth of services and easy accessibility. Malaga airport is 25 km away.

Its main attraction is the 11th century Moorish castle on the top of the hill, the Castillo de Sohail, which was converted into a fortress by the Christians in the 17th century. Today it hosts summer theatre events, concerts and festivals. The Paseo Maritimo Rey de España is 8 km long, running the length of the beaches and the urban district, and the promenade can be walked along the Fuengirola river to the Sohail Castle in the westernmost part of the town. For families, a visit to the BioPark is a must.
