Under the golden Andalusian sun, our guests Clara and Javier arrived in the enchanting Arab town of Istán for a dreamy spring weekend in April. Just 15 kilometers from Marbella, Istán welcomed them with its whitewashed houses and narrow, winding streets. They strolled hand-in-hand, marveling at the blend of Moorish architecture and rich history that whispered stories of centuries past. The scent of blooming orange blossoms filled the air as they made their way towards the NATURAL PARK OF SIERRA DE LAS NIEVES, a verdant oasis promising serene moments and breathtaking views.

Their first stop was the Escalante Tower on Street San Miguel, the oldest building in Istán, standing as a silent guardian over the town’s history. Built during the Arab period, the tower’s ancient stones seemed to echo the love stories of bygone eras.
Clara and Javier climbed to the top, where they were rewarded with panoramic vistas of the surrounding mountains and the sparkling reservoir below. As they gazed into the horizon, they felt a timeless connection, not just to each other but to the very essence of Istán.

They spent the afternoon exploring the town’s charming plazas, enjoying the gentle strumming of a guitar from a nearby café. Every corner they turned revealed another hidden gem, another perfect moment to share. As the sun began to set, they found a cozy spot overlooking the valley, where they shared a kiss, sealing their memories of Istán with a promise to return. Their hearts full, they knew this magical weekend would linger in their dreams for years to come.
