Puerto Banus is legendary for its nightlife and luxury beach clubs, which attract tourists. Ideal for those who want to discover celebrities and spend a beach holiday in luxury.
While its main attraction is the marina, full of luxury yachts and sports cars, Puerto Banus has fabulous beaches and great restaurants and shopping.
Puerto Banús is notable for the two statues on the Avenida de Nacionales Unidas, and for the bronze and copper statue of La Victoria, donated to the municipality by the Mayor of Moscow in 1994, which stands on a 26 m high granite column at the end of the seafront. At the other end of the avenue is the statue of Dali’s “rhinoceros in lace”, erected in 2004, weighing 3 tonnes.
There are three beaches in the municipality, which are very different from each other, so everyone can find the one that suits their taste and needs.
In Puerto Banús, 8 km (5 metres) west of Marbella, one of the largest flea markets on the Costa del Sol is held every Saturday morning on the main street leading from the bullring to the waterfront. Bargain on everything from antiques and vintage clothes to fruit and spices.
